American Cemetery in NormandyAlthough I was quite happy to have visited, it was a very emotional time for me. It hit me hard that so many Americans died to save France, to save my mom's side of the family. It is a moment I will never forget.

Aix-en-ProvenceI love soccer! I like to watch the finals of the Euro Cup and especially the World Cup. I was in Aix-en-Provence this summer during the final game of Euro 2016. I was very disappointed that France lost. This photo was taken pre-game.

Paris, my heart always goes back to you.
The famous Arc de Triomphe is in the background. This was a rare opportunity with no traffic since all of the Champs-Elysees was closed for Bastille Day. It is a roundabout with traffic coming from 5 streets. From above, the streets form the shape of a star.

I have seen the Eiffel Tower more times than I can count, since I lived in Paris. However, I have to visit it each time I am there!
